Important Clarifications:
Individual deliverance sessions are:
🔸Not Counselling sessions.
🔸Not pastoral care appointments.
🔸Not introductory conversations.
🔸Not crisis-only support.
✅ They are focussed, ministry-specific sessions for candidates who are already prepared, and spiritually aligned.
Important Requirements:
Before an individual session can be considered, all of the following must be met first:
(1) – Spiritual Readiness.
Candidate must demonstrate:
✅ Willingness to repent and forgive.
✅ Understand that deliverance requires cooperation and obedience.
✅ A teachable and submitted heart.
✅ Commitment to arrive prepared and on time.
(2) – Church Connection & Pastoral Referral.
Candidate must:
✅ Be actively connected to a local church or recognised Christian fellowship.
✅ Have discussed their situation with their Christian Spiritual Overseer (pastor, minister, or recognised leader).
✅ Be referred by the above mentioned Christian Spiritual Overseer (pastor, minister, or recognised leader).
This ensures:
✅ Pastoral care has already been engaged.
✅ Proper candidate accountability before and after deliverance.
✅ Alignment with biblical spiritual authority.
✅ Protection for the candidate, the church, and the ministry.
👉 Individual deliverance is not a replacement for local church pastoral care.
(3) – Completion of the Pre-Deliverance Questionnaire.
The questionnaire is mandatory and forms part of the discernment process. Incomplete or superficial submissions will not be considered.
(4) – Discernment & Availability.
Even when all requirements are met:
✅ Not all requests will be approved.
✅ Availability is limited.
✅ Direction may still be given toward an evening session instead.
Important Notes on Stewardship:
This Deliverance Pathway exists to ensure that:
✅ Ministry time is stewarded well.
✅ Candidates receive effective, lasting freedom.
✅ Spiritual order and accountability are honoured.
👉 Unfortunately in past sessions over the last few years, we observed that many individual sessions were used for:
🔸Unprepared candidates.
🔸Pastoral care that should have occurred beforehand.
🔸Candidate Non-attendance without notifying the team beforehand.
🔸Repeated rescheduling from the candidate side.
🔸Crisis management rather than deliverance.
🔸Candidates expecting it to be a Counselling session and not a Ministry session.
🔸Candidates wanted only some demons to be delivered and not all.
🔸Candidates not prepared to change their sinful lifestyle but still wanted to be delivered from their current tormenting demons.
🔸Candidates attended sessions for attention and not deliverance.
🔸Candidates only attended sessions because their friends or family wanted them too, but was not a priority to them.
🔸Candidates arrive at session with Doubt, Disbelief or Unbelief and not expecting to be free.
🔸Candidates in the sessions refusing to Repent or Forgive.
🔸Some Candidates did not even believe in Jesus Christ.
